valpo.fyi is a radar for what's happening in Valparaiso, Indiana. The outdoor concert at a park you'd never hear about, the free kids thing at the library, the garage sale two streets over. One page, updated every morning, everything linked to its source.
It exists because finding out what's going on here is harder than it should be. The information is scattered across a dozen Facebook groups, calendar pages, and newsletters, and most of it reaches you after the thing already happened. We read all of it so you can check one page with your coffee.
It's made by a Valpo family. Software does the gathering; a person reads and publishes every edition. We don't write news, we don't editorialize, and nothing gets listed without a link to where it came from. If we got something wrong, tell us and we'll fix it.
